Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and keep a warm and welcoming experience with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our dining standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for guest relations and creating memorable experiences for patrons is essential.
**Upon hire, you are responsible for completing the KY STAR training before your first day. You must have a copy of your certificate before you are able to clock in.
