What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant/Deep Clean Manager position at Mandy's Cleaning Service LLC?
Our company is looking to hire an assistant manager to help our Field Manager check accounts and lead deep cleans on a daily basis. We are looking for someone that has the following skills:
- Several years of management experience;
- Experienced cleaner with attention to detail;
- Can lead and run cleaning crews on large cleaning projects;
- Self motivated and can work with management on scheduling accounts;
- Service oriented and can interact professionally with customers on a daily basis;
- Works well with employees and the management team;
- Flexible schedule that can work days and Saturdays;
- Can work with phone apps, computers, and understands scheduling;
- Clean driving history, a valid DL, reliable transportation, and car insurance;
- Clean background (no criminal history);
- Drug free.
This is a hourly position that may become a salaried position after sometime. It is expected to work during the day as we clean residential accounts Monday-Friday. The candidate must be flexible and able to check/work residential accounts and deep cleans during days. The position will eventually include the use of a company vehicle to drive to and from accounts. There is potential for paid vacation and performance bonuses for the position if certain results are met throughout the year.
The position is also expected to lead deep cleans of residential accounts on a regular basis that can number 3-5 per week. That involves working with the office manager, sales manager and field manager in coordination on scheduling crews each day/week for deep cleans. A very robust system is in place and is expected to provide input and strategy on a weekly basis to make sure the best teams and cleaning techs are at deep clean accounts. The assistant will become familiar with all of the current cleaning tools and systems at the company.
We are doing initial phone interviews that are conducted by the office assistant. If a potential hire does well during the interview, they will be asked to do a paid interview with our Field Manager. If that is successful, they will be brought in to meet with the owner and Field Manager for a formal interview. If that goes well, they will be offered the position on an interim basis until a decision is made to bring the candidate on with the company.
Prior cleaning and management experience as stated above is a requirement for this position. Also include at least two (2) references on your resume or application if possible. You must have a working smart phone, good driving record, and a good prior work history. Please have on hand a current driver's license and proof of insurance. As stated above, we perform background checks and drug testing on all candidates we hire.
