Nursery Garden Center Manager
We are in search of an energetic dynamic individual with extensive retail store management experience. Specifically, nursery garden center management experience is highly desired but candidates with related retail management experience are encouraged to apply. Our garden center prides itself on offering more than just products; we provide value-added services and collaborative experience, focusing on engaging with our customers to help them make informed, long-term choices for their gardens and homes. As our current Garden Center Owner and Manager steps into a new role focusing more on our expanding event venue business, we are on the lookout for someone who can carry forward the legacy and contribute to our growing success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring our garden center continues to offer exceptional value and customer service.
• Manage inventory, including stock levels, health, and presentation, to meet our high standards.
• Ensure our physical and online stores operate seamlessly, providing a easy and engaging shopping environment.
• Collaborate with our team and maintain open lines of communication to achieve operational goals and customer satisfaction.
• Understand project visions and customer expectations to deliver services that lead to 100% satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a nursery or garden center environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with a history of building and guiding successful teams.
• Commitment to honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and financial management abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and a willingness to learn new systems.

Job Details:

• Year-round, full-time position.
• Work schedule includes six days a week, with flexible hours 1-2 days per week and Sundays off.
• Role involves a mix of on-site and administrative duties.
• Seasonal variations in schedule, with busier periods in spring and around holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
