The Associate Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and managing customer marketing initiatives to help grow a specific segment(s) and the overall beverage category. This role is cross-functional and works closely with the commercial and R&D teams to create and execute projects and initiatives to drive customer engagement and support pipeline build. This role includes customer-facing interaction including on-site and virtual presentations and engagements. Key competencies include analytical, creative, critical thinking and organization skills, and the ability to clearly communicate, present and connect MANE’s capabilities to our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Business Director(s) and Sr. Customer Marketing Manager to execute category and segment marketing strategies.
- Create compelling marketing assets both proactive and reactive including one-pagers, capability and customer decks, and general awareness building content.
- Organize and manage high-value customer engagements; recommend data-based concepts and market driven solutions for demonstration in response to customer briefs and proactive requests. Lead execution through collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Interpret primary research (Consumer Insights) and secondary market data to identify trends and develop materials for business and customer engagement.
- Translate MANE’s competencies into value propositions for the business and its customers.
- Provide customer marketing support and input on select global and national account cross-functional teams.
- Work with the marketing communications partners to develop and manage category trade communications and brand promotion programs.
- Create and co-manage ingredient collections programs with the Portfolio team as well as other proactive customer engagement tools and programs.
- Attend category relevant trade events to monitor industry trends and prepare post show reports.
- Maintain close awareness of competitor activities and recommend actions as appropriate and necessary to maintain leadership advantage

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in Marketing or Business Management
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience
- Experience with marketing research and building compelling presentations with PowerPoint, Canva or similar a must
- Trade research and social media literate
- Proven track record of creative project management and execution within a cross-functional environment
- Flavor, seasoning and/or food ingredient B2B industry and market category experience preferred
