The Facilities Maintenance Technician is generally responsible for developing and maintaining preventative maintenance plans, auditing systems to identify required repairs, and maintaining safety procedures within the Maintenance Department. This individual interacts with all internal Departments, external Contractors, Vendors, Auditors, and Customers. Key competencies: Analytical Skills, Communication and Presentation Skills, Critical Thinking, and Blueprint and Schematic Reading and Drawing Skills. Work is performed under close supervision involving detailed instructions. Work is limited to duties for which errors can be easily detected and would result in only minor disruption or expense to correct.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow OEM recommendations to develop preventive maintenance plans.
- Perform routine operational and preventive maintenance on pumps, filtration systems, motors, gearboxes, HVAC Systems, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and MSDS sheets.
- Perform daily and weekly safety checks throughout the facility to eliminate all hazards and to ensure a safe and clean environment for peers and customers of the facility.
- Perform GMP audits and follow up with identified necessary repairs.
- Monitor and replace light bulbs in all assigned facilities as needed.
- Make minor plumbing repairs as necessary.
- Complete regular small repairs including painting, caulking, and patching various materials in a quality manner.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
- Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, employees will engage in awareness and practical training, relevant to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities, in order to adhere to applicable environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school or equivalent experience related to facilities maintenance preferred.
- Some experience with preventative maintenance and proactive measures for maintenance desired.
- Ability to safely use standard powered and non-powered tools.
- Ability to accurately sketch, read, and understand water, gas, electric, or air piping layouts.
- Ability to apply methods, practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, and renovation of machines.
- Ability to weld using MIG and TIG.
- Flavor industry desired.
- Computer literate.
