We have a brand-new position available on our HR team for a Performance and Talent Manager. The HR Performance and Talent Manager is a key role within the HR team, responsible for executing and optimizing the organization’s performance management processes, talent development initiatives, and succession planning efforts. This individual will collaborate closely with the HR leadership, senior leaders, and business managers to ensure the seamless execution of performance management frameworks and training programs. The Performance and Talent Manager will help drive a high-performance culture by supporting the growth and development of employees, particularly through performance reviews, training rollouts, and the identification of high-potential talent.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management Execution
  • Support the execution and ongoing enhancement of the company’s performance management system, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and encourages employee growth.
  • Assist in managing the performance review cycle, including planning, communication, talent reviews, and calibration sessions to ensure fairness and consistency across departments.
  • Maintain and update performance management tools and materials to facilitate a streamlined review process.
  • Ensure that managers are effectively trained on performance management best practices and assist them in navigating the performance evaluation process.
  • Training Rollout & Implementation
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to support the delivery of performance management and talent development training sessions.
  • Assist in monitoring the progress of training initiatives, ensuring they are executed smoothly and achieving their intended outcomes.
  • Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs and work on recommendations for improvements.
  • Track the completion and participation rates of training programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Succession Planning Support
  • Work closely with senior leadership and HR to assist in the development and implementation of succession plans for critical roles within the organization.
  • Help identify key talent and potential future leaders within the company, ensuring that they are provided with the resources, training, and opportunities needed for growth.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of succession planning efforts and work with HR partners to implement necessary adjustments.
  • Talent Strategy & Alignment
  • Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to align talent and performance management strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Contribute to the creation of performance and talent metrics that help measure the effectiveness of initiatives and guide continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support to business leaders on talent development needs and performance management best practices.
  • Data-Driven Reporting & Insights
  • Analyze performance management data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement within the organization.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership that summarize key performance and talent management data, offering actionable insights.
  • Utilize HR systems and tools to track performance, training progress, and talent management initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on performance management, talent development, and/or succession planning.
  • Strong experience with performance management systems and talent development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with the delivery and management of training programs.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and performance management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
