We have an immediate opening for a first shift HVAC Maintenance Technician for our Lebanon, Ohio facility!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maintaining HVAC and heating systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Assist in maintaining refrigeration systems, medium and low temperatures.
- Proactively identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Skilled in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems to maintain appropriate air quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve heating and cooling issues with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve relative humidity issues with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot electric motors, motor starters, proximity sensors, solenoids, temperature controllers, etc.
- Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and with OSHA regulations.
- Manage HVAC contractors.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, operators and other site specialists.
- Follow all GMP & Safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all Sanitation, Food Safety and Quality Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
- Electrical knowledge including low voltage AC/DC
- EPA Universal Certification, required
- Completed Journeyman Apprenticeship Program, required
- Journeyman License, preferred
- Working knowledge of boiler systems, preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in reading schematics
- Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays on short notice
- Five (5) years of experience in HVAC maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with food industry experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of preventative maintenance programs, as well as proactive measures for maintenance needs.
