The Inventory Material Control Operator will be involved in multiple tasks associated with inventory including but not limited to material transfers, sample pulling, cycle counting, inventory management, and material handling. Responsible for material movement throughout the R&D facility.

We have an exciting opportunity to hire an Inventory Control Operator II at our Development Center in Lebanon, Ohio. The Inventory Material Control Operator will be involved in multiple tasks associated with inventory including but not limited to material transfers, sample pulling, cycle counting, inventory management, and material handling. Responsible for material movement throughout the R&D facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain strict adherence to equipment SOPs, GMP standards, food & flavor regulations (Kosher), and documentation requirements.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment or ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
- Process transfer orders to move materials at our increasing rate between all four (4) sites and external warehouses. Track shipments, update records, and communicate ETAs or delays.
- Expedite raw material requests with Production or Purchasing respectively.
- Receive and log raw materials from vendors for R&D using proprietary software and Excel databases. Maintain accurate records by filing and organizing vendor Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for compliance and traceability.
- Research all variance codes in association with inventory movements.
- Proactively manage expiring materials by coordinating the submission of samples to the appropriate QC lab for evaluation. Maintain accurate logs of submissions, track evaluation and communicate findings to relevant labs.
- Maintain inventory for multiple labs and perform routine cycle counts.
- Manage cycle count in MES and analyze stock discrepancies between MES and physical inventory.
- Utilize databases to track inventory levels and manage inventory replenishments.
- Maintain accuracy in relation to “work in process” locations.
- Manage warehouse operations by assigning new inventory to designated locations, managing stock adjustments, and ensuring the proper disposal of expired materials.
- Manage and update shared spreadsheets to ensure accurate, organized, and up-to-date data. Collaborate with team members to track changes and maintain data integrity
- Communicate with Production, Logistics and Quality on process improvement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of engineering controls and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
- Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, employees will engage in awareness and practical training, relevant to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities, to adhere to applicable environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years inventory management experience preferred
- Flavor industry experience desired.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and effective communication for team collaboration.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office and current Excel databases. SAP experience is a plus.
- Data entry, Quality Inspection, Inventory Management.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required.
