We have a new and exciting opportunity to hire an experienced Supply Chain Manager for our Lebanon, Ohio facility. The Supply Chain Manager – Materials will develop and lead the Raw Material planning strategy, with an overall goal of improving our service and inventory performance. This key Supply Chain leader will work closely with Forecasting, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Production to ensure alignment and execution of the Raw Material planning strategy. This role is also responsible to develop and lead the Materials team.
Note: This role is not responsible for sourcing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and lead the Raw Material planning process (short and long-term) aiming to establish discipline, increase agility, and improve overall execution.
- Design and maintain an inventory strategy which drives cost efficiencies while meeting service level targets with considerations of pipeline, attrition, and base business.
- Achieve service, inventory, and efficiency targets.
- Analyze current processes and procedures and develop Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase service and inventory performance.
- Lead service and inventory improvement initiatives relating to Raw Materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and deliver on Raw Material needs.
- Define and implement performance indicators and ensure regular reporting of actual performance against targets (service, inventory & efficiency).
- Ensure Master Data is current, and a process is in place to review and update.
- Lead team by establishing clear KPI’s, processes, & expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a materials team
- SAP, APO, & DPIRM systems knowledge
- Food & Beverage Manufacturing Experience (Flavor industry desired)
- Change management and project leadership
- ASCM certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
