General Description :
Builds control panels to support client needs by conducting the layout and mounting of equipment and electrical components from routing to terminating wiring as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Mount Equipment
Install mounting structure – Din Rail, Brackets, Etc.
Mount Equipment according to drawings and confirm spacing is according to drawings
Wire routing
Review drawings for wire routing
Review routing with integration manager
Install and terminate all electrical and communication wiring
Confirm wire gage is appropriate and per drawings
Label all wire terminations according to drawing
Verify all wiring to design drawings
Redline any changes required on drawing set and confirm with integration manager
Confirm all terminations are properly tightened
Qualifications :
Ability to read and understand drawings / schematics
Ability to adapt to changes and project needs
Ability to communicate well with others
Willing to take direction from others
Team player that shares ideas
Working Conditions :
Some overtime when required for project scheduling
Some weekend work when required for project scheduling
Physical Requirements
Lifting of equipment for mounting to structure
Extended periods of standing required in the panel shop
