Mangan is seeking an experienced, agile Sr. Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting frontend and backend software for an existing operations management web application software, mobile software, and associated services necessary to communicate and control various types of hardware. Opportunity is a hybrid position, with office locations in Sugar Land, TX and Alpharetta, GA.
Key Experience and Skills:
- 7-15 years’ applicable work experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Must be agile and flexible with a willingness to learn to stay on the cutting edge of technology.
- 3 years experience developing mobile applications using .net MAUI and/or Xamarin Forms.
- Experience developing windows services communicating with different hardware via TCP/IP, Modbus and OPC.
- Experience with desktop and/or web applications is a plus.
- Experience with .net Framework and/or .Net Core using C#.
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (asp.net web, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Telerik .net Core controls, .net MAUI)
- Familiarity with API’s
- Experience with agile and/or DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL). Excellent skills in DB schema design and SQL development including heavy use of stored procedures and functions written in TSQL.
- Experience in source control tools, such as GIT.
- Ability to multitask and switch from one programming language to another to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services reports and service is a plus.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Experience with industrial control systems and/or industrial network equipment a plus
- Experience with oil and gas transportation terminals a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in design and development from conception to deployment to support.
- Work with customers to identify needs that need to be integrated into new designs.
- Work as a part of a team to share in the responsibility to meet deadlines and support existing customers.
- Produce user documents, technical specifications, and any additional documentation needed to support the product.
- Assist in providing estimates for development time and ability to track and stay within budget and time for tasks.
- Test their own development and others to ensure a quality product.
- Assist in development of new services to communicate and control new types of hardware on the market.
- Travel averaging 25%, with willingness to travel via air.
