Mangan is seeking an SPI User for our Sugar Land. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of SPI and may have Instrumentation/Control Systems experience.
Education:
High School Degree or Equivalent
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of basic experience with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, CAD applications or other software used for data implementation
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience with SPI modules (Engineering and/or Design)
- Able to exhibit strong working knowledge of either the Engineering or the Design modules with a basic working knowledge of the other module
- A strong understanding of P&ID’s, simple wiring diagrams, simple Loop drawings, and specification sheets; and their implementation in SPI
- A SPI User will have the following SPI capabilities:
- Standard SPI functions (creation of Loops and Tags, panels and cables, connections, spec sheets, and Loop drawing generation and formatting into a readable document)
- Individual Tag Data sheet implementation and Tag Process Data implementation
- Use of browser views, sorts, and filters
- Batch Loop and Tag creation
- Batch Wiring connection and Loop generation
- Basic understanding of SPI ESL layouts and macros
- Creation of DCS/PLC/SIS panels
- Calculation for Flow Elements, Control Valves, etc.
- Creation of browser views, sorts, and filters
- Basic understanding of revision archiving for SPI documents
