Job Overview
Part Time Meat Cutter.

Hours are Friday 6am - 4 pm and Saturday 7am - 12pm.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our retail staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat cutting. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent knife skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the freshest and highest quality meat products.

Duties

• Utilize various cutting techniques to prepare meat products for sale, ensuring precision and quality in each cut.
• Handle and process different types of meat, including beef, pork, and poultry, while following established guidelines for food safety and hygiene.
• Package meat products appropriately for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and custom cuts.

Requirements

• Experience in meat cutting within the food industry.
• Strong knife skills with the ability to perform various cutting techniques effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations related to meat processing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and customer service excellence.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
• Ability to work in Refrigeration.
