The Parts Department at Mangino Chevrolet is currently in search of a self-motivated individual to serve as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This position is significantly important in the parts department, as it contributes to Mangino's business relationships, organization, and time management. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the tasks that are associated with the inbound and outbound shipment of parts. To ensure that the receipts, storage, and shipments are completed in a timely and precise manner. The prompt movement of parts through our facility will be supported by your attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficient work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Parts department experience a plus
- Shipping /receiving experience preferred
- Organized and ambitious self-starter
- Computer literacy
- Prompt & courteous
- Deliver parts to technicians when needed.
- Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked.
- Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
- Assists the service department by moving vehicles as needed and delivering vehicles to other repair facilities for sublet repairs.
- Running parts to technicians in shop.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving.
- Assisting with inventory.
- Assisting parts advisors with selecting parts for shop or retail customers
- Good verbal and written communication skills, can effectively interact with team members, managers, customers, vendors, and personnel at all levels of the organization
- Must be a team player who can work well with others to improve work processes
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills; can gather relevant data to shape goals and objectives
- Must be an independent worker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong time management skills; can prioritize workload to meet objectives
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Customer Service Experience required
- Dealership Experience preferred
- CDK experience preferred
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Occasional Saturday shift dependent upon business need
Pay:
- $18.00 - $20.00/hour dependent on experience
