Job Description
Filling and distributing prescription, clerical activities under the pharmacist’s supervision. Data entry of prescriptions, pulling and labeling prescribed products and engaging with customers and patients.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Data entry and filling of prescriptions.
- Pulling stock, pouring, counting, restocking, packaging, labeling and pricing the prescription.
- Provide quality customer service by greeting guests as they enter the pharmacy, keeping the pharmacy clean and inviting and answering phones professionally and answer any customer questions ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Assisting customers with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Assist in checking and removing out-of-date product as instructed by the pharmacist.
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance of federal HIPPA regulations.
- Maintain all product labels, signs and prices aligned with product.
- Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report hazards to Pharmacist.
- Operate the cashier register and the credit card machine.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
