Responsibilities :
- Oversee a plan of ministry through music.
Lead and oversee all music programming for Sunday services, including song selection, music, and vocal teams.
Work alongside the senior pastor to coordinate planning of Sunday services, particularly with the preaching schedule.Develop, train, and build a team of volunteers.Lead the music team, responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of singers and musicians.
Oversee the sound and media teams, assisting volunteer team leaders in building and developing their teams.Collaborate with the staff of Crossroads to fulfill the vision and mission.Embrace humility in fulfilling various roles as needed, recognizing the primary goal is to make disciples for Jesus.

A commitment to personal spiritual growth is required.Exhibit high personal integrity, competence, confidence, coachability, a strong work ethic, and high personal and professional character.Demonstrate strong communication skills with staff, ministry teams, and the church community.Adhere to the policies in the staff policy book and the expectations of Crossroads Christian Church membership.Build relationships and invest in the lives of church members.Serve as the staff overseer for the Sound Ministry Team and Media Ministry Teams, with potential for additional ministry team assignments.Possess experience with or be able to learn a proficient level of knowledge with Behringer X32 sound boards.Be available to share gifts and talents in other areas of church ministry as time permits.Lead church-wide events and outreaches as opportunities arise, while maintaining primary focus areas in ministry.Crossroads is a 29-year-old Restoration Movement church in the Kansas City suburbs, with an average weekend attendance of 600 across three Sunday morning services.
