Job Description :
The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has an opening for an IT Systems Engineer / Administrator in its IT / Network Services Unit. This position is responsible for providing network operations and administration support to the unit and office. The IT Systems Engineer / Administrator plays a crucial role in assisting with designing, administering, implementing, and maintaining DANY’s information technology systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support of all network operations and administration.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
- Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.
- Administration and Configuration of Microsoft Server operating system.
- Creating, Supporting, Configuration of Active Directory.
- Administration of Microsoft Exchange O365.
- Microsoft Azure administration.
- Assist in Data Backup and Tape management.
- Ability to participate in high level meetings and understand the needs to offer solutions.
- Performs related duties as needed.
