Responsibilities of a Verizon Customer Service Representative:
- Interact with customers within an assigned market and or territory, promoting products and services from Verizon that meet their needs
- Identify customer's questions and concerns followed by offering them solutions
- Work with the customer service and sales team to develop improved sales and outreach efforts aimed at increasing sales performance
- Negotiate service and contract renewals; upsell service or promotions available to them if necessary
- Keep accurate records of sales transactions to manage their account thoroughly and follow up with customers after the sales process concludes to track sales performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications of a Verizon Customer Service Representative:
- Ability to build relationships with current and potential customers by communicating with them clearly and providing them insightful information on services
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or related role
- Strong work ethic with a passion to meet work responsibilities
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and within a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends was needed
- Strong attention to detail to maintain all the knowledge on Verizon’s services
