Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 3-8 hours per day (ideally between 12pm-8pm) between 20-29 hours/week
Location: Manhattan Psychology Group’s Upper West Side Office
Hourly Rate: $15-$18 per hour
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Reports To: Assistant Director of Mental Health and Testing Services
Position Summary
The Practice Assistant is responsible for supporting the Practice Coordinators with the day-to-day operations of the business office, including operational and administrative support.

Position Responsibilities
- Assist with obtaining and maintaining necessary information for client records and ensuring all appropriate parties have access
- Maintain and manage inventory of office supplies and cleaning supplies
- Answer calls and greet clients and their families and alert the appropriate staff members
- Ensure documents received via mail are scanned and dispersed to appropriate parties
- Maintain a clean and orderly office environment and work station
- Provide administrative support to clinicians as needed
- Assist with coordinating team building events
- Create and distribute organizational materials and devices as needed
- Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain company spreadsheets as directed by Practice Coordinators
- Provide support and complete other assigned job responsibilities as needed and directed by Practice Coordinators
- Support Manhattan Psychology Group and its family of companies as needed
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred
- Experience providing administrative support to a medical or mental health practice preferred
- Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
- Extremely detail oriented and extremely responsive to the needs of the practice
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and active listening skills with the ability to build rapport and professional relationships with clients
- Possess strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with staff and co-workers
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Growth mindset looking to support a growing practice
