Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide general operational support for Federal grant reviews by coordinating all foundational preparation tasks during the pre-review phase through completion of the review, while maintaining the established standards, policies and procedures.
- Support the reviewers, staff and vendors by providing guidance, answering questions, and ensuring smooth, documented communication throughout the process.
- Complete applications screenings, download application and maintain compliance parameters according to the NOFOs.
- Coordinate application duplication efforts and ensure quality by maintaining standards and identifying any potential issues.
- Support quality control measures to ensure consistent standards and processes.
- Assist with panel reviewer outreach and solicitation, confirmation, COI, and Review Forms.
- Execute site searches and provide synthesized reports.
- Coordinate staff and reviewer travel, mailing and reimbursements as necessary.
- Manage communications under the purview and document of the position accordingly.
- Maintain competition websites, SharePoint sites, and information collection activities from start to finish
- Effectively utilize online technology platforms to manage the peer review process.
- Monitor daily operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Participate in trainings that support the performance of the peer review process.
- Incorporate other tasks specific to the support of the peer reviews as requested by the COR.
- A high school diploma or equivalency required.
- Exposure to event coordination and planning preferred.
- Experience working with federal government programs, ideally with federal contracts and in a consulting environment.
- Experience aggregating data and producing reports based on multiple data sources.
- Upon hire, the ability to secure a public trust clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications to include Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience communicating, both orally and in writing, to various audiences.
- Experience organizing and performing multiple tasks at the same time.
- Experience providing administrative support to project and/or contract management team and staff who work remotely.
- Public Trust Clearance required.
