The role of the Senior IT Project Manager is to plan and execute projects according to baselined scope and schedule, and within budget. Responsible for successfully managing and delivering from inception to completion and defining the project's objectives as well as overseeing quality control throughout project's life cycle.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- 5 years direct work experience in IT project management capacity, including all aspects of project planning and execution.
- Experience managing projects with business applications (Office 360, Salesforce, Workday, MS Dynamix- or other ERP and HCM applications) and infrastructure.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical or business field.Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Initiate a project by first understanding the business problem and solution goals, then defining project objectives working closely with key stakeholders. Create a holistic project charter which may include multiple phasesLead and create project work breakdown structure working closely with project team members. Oversee creation of requirements. At times, may need to assist in documenting requirements. Manage scope throughout the project lifecycleCreate and manage end to end comprehensive detailed project schedule with task dependencies, milestones, and resource assignmentsManage project budget and mitigate variance against baselinePlan, organize and manage testing activities. Effectively and efficiently orchestrate testing execution and defect management. At times, may need to assist in creating test casesIdentify and manage program risks and issues. Perform ongoing risk analysis and apply appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Understand the impact of the issues and resolve in a timely manner. Escalate risks and issues as necessary with potential resolution optionsPlan and manage project change control process. Lead change impact analysis and manage Change Control Board (CCB) for change decisionPlan and manage implementation and user go-live. Create and execute a detailed comprehensive implementation plan with medium to high dependencies. Identify, orchestrate and manage training and communication required for a successful user go-liveRegularly distribute project status to all stakeholders. At times, may include C-level leadershipSet clear expectations with all stakeholders, and continually manage expectations. Where needed, realign if expectations are differentBuild and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
