Scope and Purpose :
Join ManhattanLife as a Software Quality Assurance Test Manager, where you'll lead a team committed to ensuring excellence in software quality. In this role, you’ll drive best practices to support and maintain a zero-defect production environment, pushing the boundaries of innovation to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business objectives. Your leadership will be key in fostering continuous improvement and achieving quality-driven success across the organization.
As the manager of the Software Quality Assurance team, you’ll have direct impact on shaping the future of our software initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Write software test strategies, plans, and test cases.
- Implement automated test harnesses for feature level test automation of APIs and web services.
- Provide guidance, leadership, and training to all QA members integrated into the Agile SCRUM development teams and ensure consistency of our built-in quality efforts across all SCRUM teams.
- Responsible for assigning resources against competing projects and negotiating timelines with PMs and Development Managers / Leads.
- Responsible for the quality of the products being released.
- Define test plans.
- Recommend and implement test tools.
- Use Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with the development teams to ensure that User Stories are testable.
- Manage hiring, retention, and performance management for the QA team.
- Ensure documentation of SW validation activities and results for all phases of the software life cycle.
- Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; 10 years’ relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of education.

This position may require light travel within a ten-mile radius from one office location to another as needed.
