Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Third Grade Teacher who will integrate biblical principles into all subject areas and foster a love for learning. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to inspiring students to develop academically, spiritually, and socially while maintaining a strong partnership with parents and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and Christian worldview.
- Teach core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and history with a biblical perspective.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
- Model Christ-like behavior and mentor students in their spiritual growth.
- Maintain clear and open communication with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the school’s mission and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification). ACSI certification also acceptable.
- A personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s statement of faith.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Experience teaching elementary students, preferably in a Christian school setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
