Summary
The Bartender/Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing and serving quality food and drinks for patrons of the golf course, Overlook Activities Center or other Township food service sites while maintaining a clean facility, following R.A.M.P. rules and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, always maintaining professionalism.
- Communicate food and beverage menu options to customers and answer any related questions.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons of Overlook Golf Course adhering to RAMP regulations.
- Perform light cooking while maintaining quality and food safety requirements.
- Safely operate food and beverage cart on Overlook Golf Course and within the Overlook Community Campus.
- Utilize Point-of-Sale (POS) computer systems for order processing and payment collection.
- Assist with preparations for catered outings, food preparation, set ups and clean up.
- Clean kitchen tools, prep surfaces, and equipment following established procedures.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts.
- Responds to any safety situation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Adhere to and enforce policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to talk, hear, and see.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of basic math, addition, subtraction, etc.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of department policy, procedures, and work rules.
- Knowledge of State Liquor Control Board regulations for food service establishments including RAMP Certification
Education and Experience:
- 1 year experience as a bartender required
- RAMP Certification preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work the schedule as described
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation
