Summary
The Pool Concessions Server is responsible for delivering quality food service to patrons at the swimming pools and Overlook Community Campus. This role includes maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to all food safety regulations, and upholding professional conduct with both patrons and colleagues.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a quality food service experience to all guests.
- Perform moderate to light cooking while maintaining quality and food safety requirements.
- Clean kitchen tools, prep surfaces, and equipment following established procedures.
- Utilize Point-of-Sale (POS) computer systems for order processing and payment collection.
- Communicate with Manager on duty regarding customer needs and inventory levels.
- Assist with preparations for birthday parties.
- Operate a non-alcoholic food and beverage cart within the Overlook Community Campus (for employees 16 years or older)
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts (availability for duration of the summer preferred).
- Follow the Township's policies, rules, and regulations of employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to talk, hear, and see.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of basic math, addition, subtraction, etc.
- Knowledge of government food handling and sanitation regulations including National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of department policy, procedures, and work rules.
Skills:
- Ability to perform moderate cooking.
Abilities:
- Ability to provide quality customer service consistently.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- ServSafe Certified
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years of age. 16 years of age to operate non-alcoholic food/beverage cart
- Must be able to work the schedule as described.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation
