RN/LVN

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, assisting with daily living activities, and administering medications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitoring: Observe and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring proper dosage and timing.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
• Communication: Collaborate with healthcare team members, including RNs and physicians, to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with information on health management and preventive care.
• Infection Control: Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Emergency Response: Respond to patient emergencies, providing first aid and basic life support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of a state-approved LVN program.
• Licensure: Current LVN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team; compassion and empathy for patients.
