Job Summary :

The Manistee Intermediate School District – Manistee County School Business Cooperative is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process invoices and requisitions in accordance with business office procedures
• Prepare business office disbursements and maintain control of all accounts payable records
• Maintain accurate vendor files, including tax payer ID number and issuing of 1099’s
• Assist in spreadsheet development and maintenance
• Perform various office tasks
• Assist in preparation of bank reconciliations for assigned district bank accounts
• Assist in preparation for the financial audit and other perform other duties as assigned
