What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Planning & Zoning position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
Manitowoc County is seeking an Administrative Specialist to provide administrative, technical, and financial support to Planning & Parks Department and staff. This position:
- Performs general administrative support functions, including but not limited to: receptionist duties, issuing receipts, distributing mail, creating educational brochures, and ordering office supplies.
- Prepares agendas, resolutions and packets of information for the Planning and Park Commission and County Board meetings. Prepares minutes for the Planning and Park Commission and the Board of Adjustment.
- Posts public hearing notices and ensures that public hearings are correctly published in the newspaper.
- Performs data entry for the POWTS Maintenance Program and other programs.
- Performs bookkeeping functions including processing payments, managing case payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist Real Property Lister with data entry and verification of data.
