What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Services Supervisor position at Manitowoc County?
Manitowoc County is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join their clinical team. This position manages, supervises and directs staff providing CSP services and:
- Provides clinical supervision, consultation and case collaboration of CSP and clinical management clients.
- Provides clinical supervision for the appropriate number of hours per week per CSP worker as outlined in DHS 63.
- Documents all clinical supervision, collaboration, consultation and staffing.
- Serves as a case manager which includes providing direct services, individual and group counseling, coordination of service with other providers, and providing training and assistance to help improve client's daily living skills.
- Acts as back up crisis supervisor.
- Facilitates referral, admission, transfer and discharge arrangements with inpatient and residential facilities.
A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work is acceptable, provided the candidate already possesses state Social Worker Certification. Experience working with chronically mentally ill individuals and providing crisis intervention services is required. A Wisconsin Driver's license is also required.
