What are the responsibilities and job description for the COOK - Sheriffs' Dept. Jail (Part Time - 32 hrs/week) position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
This part time position works approximately 28 hours per week with every other weekend and every other holiday off. The primary shift for this position is 10:30AM - 6:30PM working a 3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off schedule.
This position prepares meals for inmates of the Manitowoc County Jail and also:
- Instructs and supervises inmate trustees assisting with meal preparation, cleaning and sanitation of dishes and equipment and other duties
- Prepares regular meals and special meals for inmates with specific dietary needs
- Rotates stock and places food orders in appropriate storage areas
Experience in bulk food preparation and serving is preferred.
