What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Clerk - Clerk of Court Office position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
Manitowoc County is recruiting for a Counter Clerk in the Clerk of Courts Office to join their team. This position works in a fast-paced environment and accuracy and attention to detail are critical. This position:
- Accepts and processes new filings, receipts payments, and sets up payment plans. Assists in daily balancing of cash drawers.
- Provides clerical and administrative services to the public, including but not limited to: answering and directing incoming calls; waiting on customers at the counter, providing information, forms and procedural instruction, and referring customers to available court resources.
- Provides administrative support to the Clerk of Court staff, including but not limited to: court record entry, entry of statistical information, scanning of all court documents for all case types, and other miscellaneous clerical duties.
- Prepares bail bonds, assessment orders and conviction status reports for traffic and criminal intake.
- Processes temporary restraining orders
