What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Deputy Coroner position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
Manitowoc County has an immediate need for dedicated and qualified individuals to join our forensic staff as a Temporary/On Call Deputy Coroner. These positions are responsible for investigating deaths, ordering and assisting with autopsies, conducting other post mortem exams and collection of evidence from a body. Deputy coroners are required to sign up for a minimum 80 hours of on call time each month. These hours must include some nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekend only hours available.
Note this position is classified as Temporary/On Call and is not benefit eligible.
