What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Program Specialist-CCS position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
Working in the Clinical Services Unit of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department, this position assists in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of CCS Providers, ensures compliance with Medicaid rules and DHS 36 and reviews provider documentation to ensure compliance with DHS 36 and Medicaid rules. This position:
- Recruits CCS providers.
- Ensures all agency onboarding materials are current and in place along with individual staff materials that allow HSD to bill Medicaid for CCS services rendered by new providers.
- Monitors progress notes from providers to assure compliance with standards. Sends back notes that do not meet standards and follows up to ensure compliance.
- Track CCS contracted provider agency and agency staff information to ensure all required documentation remains current.
