As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and results-driven 2nd Shift Molding and Deck Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The 2nd Shift Molding and Deck Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the molding and deck areas during the second shift, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the molding and deck team to meet production targets in alignment with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records and reports.
• Address any operational or personnel issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to support their development.
• Ensure shift handovers are smooth and all necessary information is communicated clearly.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of molding processes, equipment, and foundry operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production reporting systems.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position, primarily working during the 2nd shift.
• The role may require standing, walking, and working in a foundry environment with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.
