FULL TIME CLEANING SPECIALIST ~ TEMPORARY
Monday Thru Friday 8:30-5pm
$15.00 Per Hour
FREE YMCA MEMBERSHIP & 24/7 ACCESS FOB.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a temporary position that runs 2/3-2/21 to cover a vacation.
The position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Cleaning Specialist at our Y intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined while also impacting the maintenance and improvement of YMCA facilities and properties.
JOB DUTIES and Qualifications:
- Clean cardio equipment, free weight equipment, cycling room and yoga studio
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping in workout rooms
- Carry out special cleaning projects
- Have the ability to work independently following cleaning rotation schedule
- Refill sanitizing supplies designated for member use
- Gather, fold and refill towel bins throughout building
- Models good teamwork and positive relationship-building skills in all interactions with members and employees
