Job Description
- Full-time Monday to Friday late shift 1130a-8p
- Full benefits including Health, Vision, Dental & Life Insurance PTO, Sick Days, End of Year Bonuses & 401k after the 3 month probationary period for full-time employees
- Answer all phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner
- Greet all patients in a joyful manner & checking them in (includes verifying demographics and insurance) whether in person or virtually
- Manage the waiting room by conveying wait times, decompressing the waiting room (moving patients to rooms), proactively managing upset patients with kindness, ensuring music is on, the waiting room is clean, and assisting patients with walking and the coffee/water machine
- “Bump up” all customer service issues and complex problems you cannot solve to a manager
- Scheduling appointments correctly using the scheduling rules
- Calling Late Arrivals
- Confirming appointments
- Orienting new patients
- Responding to patient voicemails and text messages
- Getting in touch with patients on the "appointment list" who need to be scheduled
- Ownership of all tasks and "closing the loop"
- Have a great attitude, be a team player, and be willing to learn and continuously improve
- Go above and beyond to WOW patients with our Patient Experience & to help out the team
- Opportunity to be cross trained in Medical Assisting over time if interested and able
Requirements
- Reliable transportation & 100% dependability
- Professionalism
- 2 years of Medical Receptionist experience is required
- Must be fantastic with customer service
- Fast-learner & experience good computers/EMR
- Medical office experience required
- Urgent Care or Primary Care experience is a big plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
