What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Mankas Grill?
Mankas Grill in Fairfield, CA is looking for one foh supervisor to join our team. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. We are located on 2522 Mankas Corner Road. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. This is a full time position and must commit from 11am-8pm Wednesday- Sunday. This position is paid hourly plus TIPS!
Responsibilities
Greet & Seat all guest
Take inventory & wine purchases
Assist servers when needed
Checking on guests experience
Assist with customer issues
Answering phones and returning messages
- Ensure customer satisfaction while performing duties
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
- Proactively assist fellow staff members
- Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a management role
