The Enrichment and Leisure Services Program Aide/Associate will help create a positive learning environment for students; assisting with instructional tasks, supervising students, and helping with basic program duties. The position works under the guidance of program leadership to support a safe and engaging environment for students enrolled in Enrichment and Leisure Services programming. Hours assigned by season. Available school year hours are part-time. Available summer hours range from part-time to full-time. Shifts are subject to change based on trends and needs.

Summary of Duties

• Greet students and parents or guardians as they arrive to create a welcoming atmosphere, following building secure entrance procedures.
• Complete attendance procedures.
• Assure students leave the building and are met by parents or guardians as necessary.
• Actively assist the instructor, as assigned with simple tasks or procedures.
• Model for students course skills, personal responsibility, problem-solving and respect for others.
• Support a safe and positive environment by following MAPS procedures and asking questions of the Specialist or Assistant Specialist.
• Assist with set up and clean up as directed by Specialist or Assistant Specialist.
• Attend all staff meetings and required train
  
  

Qualifications Required

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Must pass a background check
• Must ensure availability to commute to the assigned work site as required
  
  

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience working with school aged children
• Swim skills
  
  

Rate of Pay

$11.00 per hour
