High Level Urgent Care - Minnesota - 12 hr shifts

Due to continued community need Mankato Clinic has an opportunity for a Physician to join our Urgency Care Department. This is an ideal role for an Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician looking for shift work.

• Minimum staffing is 5 providers and 10 nurses
• 6 Emergency Department style rooms
• 10 exam rooms
• Average 20-25 patients per 12-hour shift
• See acute illnesses, minor injuries and work comp
• On-site Infusion Therapy, Sports Medicine, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging
• Alterra touchworks EMR
• No Call or Hospital privileging

This opportunity offers a variety of responsibilities centered on patient care as well as the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical practices, dedication to patient satisfaction and an ability to work effectively with advanced practice providers and staff, and experience with electronic records are essential. Effective interpersonal skills are necessary for providing patient / family instruction and collaboration with health team members.

Job Requirements :

Board eligible or certified by American Board of Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Licensed or ability to obtain license in the State of Minnesota

Completed an ACGME accredited residency program
