What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist position at Mankato Clinic?
Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
Monday-Friday
9 : 00am-6 : 00pm
Every 4th weekend
This position is responsible to perform established clinical tests; interprets and reports results as accurately as possible to assist providers in diagnosis and treatment; duties include certain specimen collections, clerical tasks, Quality Control, and maintenance procedures. Works in Microbiology and general lab.
Education Experience :
MLT certification with a high school diploma; graduation from an approved school for laboratory medicine; successful completion of the internship program in an approved medical laboratory; LIS or computer experience. Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date.
MT / MLS certification with a BS degree, Associates of Science Degree, or a graduate of an approved school for laboratory medicine; successful completion of the internship program in an approved medical laboratory; Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits & Compensation :
Base Pay Range : MLT $23.05-32.85
ML / MLS $27.65-$41.45
Evening and weekend shift differential
Initial pay based on relevant work experience
