What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Clinical Manager -Urgency Care position at Mankato Clinic?
Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
The Clinical Manager under the general supervision of the Director of Specialty Care, oversees the day-to-day operations of the department. Supervises and coordinates staff to ensure effective and efficient operations of the department. Develops and promotes teamwork within the department. Provides leadership in the department by displaying professionalism and leading by example. Communicates expectations clearly to staff and keeps staff informed on changes within the department and the clinic. Coaches and develops employees to ensure that staff provide high quality, safe and satisfying patient care. Assists the Chief Clinical Officer in meeting goals and objectives set forth by the Mankato Clinic’s Board of Directors and Administration.
This position requires a RN degree. Three years or greater experience in a leadership/management level position at a health care institution. A thorough knowledge of medical practice and emergency medicine background, dedication to patient satisfaction and an ability to work effectively with patients, physicians and other staff members. Computer skills and excellent communication skills required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ENPC certification required or obtain within 90 days of employment.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screening, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits:
Base Pay Range: $42.60 - $63.40 initial pay based on relevant work experience.
