Job Summary
The Manlius Senior Activity Centre (MSAC) is seeking a friendly, organized and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a community-focused environment and is comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones and assist callers with information, reservations and inquiries.
- Help coordinate volunteers and provide support for programs and events.
- Greet and engage with members, providing excellent customer service.
- Process reservations and payments for programs, lunches and events.
- Assist with data entry, filing and maintaining accurate records.
- Support program setup and general office organization.
- Provide administrative support to staff and help where needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a willingness to listen and assist our senior members.
- Prior office or customer service experience preferred.
