Role Summary
Quality representative within production, who represents the customer voice, ensures product / process conformity in accordance with the control plan, and confirms conformity to the customer specific requirements and MMS standards in operations. Supervises, coordinates and approves all activities regarding the compliance of Quality Systems Management comprised in the areas of production, logistics, health and safety, materials, and supplier quality management.
Main Tasks
Leads, guides and directs team to include hiring, training, monitoring performance, coaching, terminating in accordance with Company and HR Policies to contribute to the overall success and culture within the organization
Provides input and governs operational quality procedures and policies
Implements all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensures compliance
Ensures the resource optimization and allocates the labor and capital resources to maximize and achieve quality of manufacturing standards
Researches, evaluates, and approves investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant’s quality systems
Facilitates daily, weekly, monthly team meetings to achieve goals and objectives
Plans and executes annual projects for cost savings objectives set by governing board
Defines/approves the appropriate procedures and measures for quality control (CRM, production quality, supplier quality)
Responds to customer complaints and implements short-term and long-term countermeasures
Develops and implements the local quality assurance strategies and regulations, improves the existing strategies to fit in the plant´s operations
Evaluates the potential risks, ensures compliance with standards and regulations and provide recommendations
Facilitates audits and regulatory inspections as required
Liaise with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the M+H quality standards
Supports operations with supplier quality development planning
Supports controls of production processes according to the customer specifications for all new projects
Provides inspired leadership and motivation to the entire organization
Ensures the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
Ensures the personnel is employed in accordance with the production needs and that the employees are assigned to the positions that match their qualifications; identify, facilitate and maintain the personnel training needs and development plan

Your Profile
High School Diploma/ GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical education and experience
Min 3 years of management experience relevant work experience in manufacturing industry
Good technical knowledge of automated and simple equipment
Must have 5 S skills (keep work area safe and clean)
Must work safely and identify all safety issues using the STOP, CALL, WAIT system until repairs are made!
Strong mathematic skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to read / write routine reports and correspondences
Lean Manufacturing experience desired
Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP or other Customer and supplier orientation, organization and coordination skills
Strong organizational, planning problem-solving and interpersonal skills necessary to work in a cooperative, positive team approach
Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal & professional level
Experience or knowledge of raw materials planning/production scheduling process
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), prior Sage experience a plus
Self-driven, attention to detail, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on deliverables
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees
Knowledge on handling TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
