Job Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Optimization:
- Develop and manage supply plans to meet customer demand while minimizing cost
- Balance inventory levels and production schedules to ensure product availability
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply strategies
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to develop accurate forecasts
- Work closely with the demand planning team to align supply and demand plans
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations
- Implement inventory control policies and strategies to minimize waste and cost
- Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and propose actionable improvements
- Implement best practices in supply planning and inventory management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, sales, and distribution
- Communicate supply planning strategies and updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels
- Prepare and present reports to management on supply chain performance
- Anticipate potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and consistency
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply/demand planning, forecasting, or a related role
- SAP ERP experience
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Master’s degree
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience with WMS and GAINS planning software
- Power BI
