Role Summary
Moves and stores materials / products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery / equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors).
Main Tasks
- Uses a forklift and other powered or non-powered equipment to pull and ready product for shipment to customers or other company locations.
- Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Pulls and stages finished goods, and follows picking instructions for proper shipment preparation.
- Assures accuracy of product types and quantities for the customer's purchase order.
- Keeps inventory, warehouse / working areas, and machinery clean.
- Communicates product shortages and product damages to the Supervisor or Assistant.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
