JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Quality/HSE system is maintained in accordance with customer and internal requirements as well as ISO-9001, IATF-16949, Company HSE Policies, and customer specific requirements.
- Responsible to Supervise Quality Team and their associated functions at both sites as well as ensure proper HSE Standards are in place and implemented as needed for both sites.
- Must have or be willing to acquire a basic understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up.
- Manage the “Hold” areas and 8D problem solving process to eliminate quality issues
- Lead distribution departments in identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in quality, productivity, customer service, and customer relationships.
- Work with production teams to ensure timely sampling and communication on reported defects to reduce on hand defective products or rework to shippable condition.
- Manage and evaluate non-conformance reports; monitor for trends, assist distribution in root cause analysis, and implementation of changes to reduce quality defects.
- Coordinate actions and instructions for: disposition of non-conformances of product, process improvements, and regulatory release of finished product.
- Identify performance measures, ongoing assessment mechanisms, and best practices and enable dissemination throughout the organization ensuring a common approach to operational excellence.
- Utilize problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques. This includes knowledge of management and planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements.
- Travel Required (50% Local)
- Required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and 10 years’ experience of Logistics/Distribution Supervision OR Bachelor's Degree and 5 years’ of Logistics/Distribution Supervision
Required Skills:
- Strong Excel skills to include design, calculations and analysis
- SAP Experience
- Understanding of Logistics/Distribution claims process & Inventory Flow within DC Setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Quality related experience in a Logistics/Distribution environment
- ASQ Certification and/or Six Sigma Black Belt training
- IATF-16949 and VDA Lead Auditor certification.
- PowerBI Experience
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
