Production Work - Day Shift

Production Worker - HOURS are 5:00AM – 3:30PM

Location: Clarkson, KY

Hourly starting rate: $19 hr to $19hr

POSITION DESCRIPTION

HOURS are 5:00AM – 3:30am Monday - Thursday! The production worker position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• We will train! Manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will teach you what you need to know!
• Perform work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Assemble materials to produce the finished product.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods in the designed area for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Previous experience working in a production environment, a plus.
• Fork lift experience, a plus.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Job assignment flexibility and ability to quickly adapt and manage change.
• Results oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility to meet team and individual goals and objectives.
• Ability to work regularly and dependably.
• Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment.
• Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including the telephone.
• Mobility within the work facility, including but not limited to, sitting, standing, walking, reaching up and/or out, climbing and lifting for long periods of time.
• This position may require lifting up to 75 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
