Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, particularly in a fine dining environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS, while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders with food service during catering events or busy service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist in ordering as needed.
- Uphold all safety and health regulations related to food service and alcohol consumption.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
