SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- · Participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and financial statement preparation.
- · Perform monthly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of postings, and research and reconcile discrepancies
- · Ensure that all fixed assets are properly recorded, depreciated, and reported on the financial statements.
- · Collaborate with Accounting Manager and the team to track budgets and costs allocations; monitor, analyze and explain variances.
- · Ensure that all financial records comply with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- · Prepare detailed financial reports for management, analyzing the financial performance of development projects, properties.
- · Assist in implementing new accounting systems or procedures that improve the accounting department's efficiency
- · Perform intercompany and foreign exchange transactions
