What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portfolio Implementation Analyst position at Manning & Napier?
Summary
As a Portfolio Implementation Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing investment decisions for your assigned account base You will collaborate closely with other members of the team that also focus on portfolio oversight, trading, settlement, model delivery and portfolio compliance, and you will report to Director of the Portfolio Implementation and Execution Group.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex client accounts within the research departments asset mix guidelines for the various investment goals
- Manage the accounts within our client defined restrictions
- Prepare trading files by reviewing the individual accounts to ensure participation in the trading program will not violate our client restrictions or guidelines
- Respond to inquiries from both internal and external clients
- Position new accounts using the asset mix guidelines and the active directories from Research
- Manage client cash flows by investing/divesting per policy
- New account set up and tracking
- Manage investment strategy changes and tax loss sales
- Track and post security movements
- Calculate account splits, quarterly account rebalancing, quarterly audit of accounts and cancelled account processing
- Distribute third-party models to the multiple portals, i.e., Orion, Envestnet, LPL, Vestmark, etc.
- Back-up Compliance roles as it relates to monitoring and rule writing in Charles River
- Help update departmental procedures as necessary
- Provide back up to Senior Account Manager and support projects as needed
- Perform job responsibilities on the following systems: Archer, Charles River, Salesforce, Bloomberg, and Flextrade
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years financial services industry experience

Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 expected base salary
